Goal: Educate people seeking the right birth control about contraception options, hormones, reproductive health, and genetics with trusted, factual content.
Strategy: Research, pitch, and write more than three dozen articles covering diverse aspects of reproductive health, using insights from SEO research to inform content selection and framing. Oversee editing and independent fact checking to ensure accuracy.
Results: Achieved page one rankings for multiple core keywords, drove significant traffic to adyn website.

Goal: Build authority in proteomics and protein identification space. Establish top SERP rankings for core keywords and reach target audience of scientists and lab managers.
Strategy: Conduct detailed SEO research using SEMrush on core keywords and collaborate with internal SMEs to identify topics that resonate with target audience. Pair hub-and-spoke SEO strategy with authoritative science writing to build SERP positions while addressing target audience with more specific content and thought leadership.
Results: Top 10 SERP positions for four core keywords, top 20 positions for eight core keywords. More than two dozen articles created for website, including in-depth hub pages for core keywords.

The Understudied Proteins Initiative — a new opportunity for functional proteomics
Goal: Educate site visitors on science and potential of the z-pinch approach to fusion energy, highlighting the advantages of Zap’s approach compared to competitors.
Strategy: Create authoritative, creative copy for “How It Works” section of website detailing history, science, and potential of the z-pinch. Write articles for the website explaining specific aspects of Zap Energy’s approach and science.
Results: Informative and compelling website copy explaining complex high-physics concepts to a general audience. Multiple articles detailing the advantages of the z-pinch in understandable, compelling language.

Goal: Collaboratively edit, copyedit, and design the comprehensive Peatlands Playbook, an 89-page whitepaper detailing knowledge gained from years of on-the-ground efforts to restore and protect peatlands in northern Minnesota.
Strategy: Work closely with TNC scientists and staff to ensure copy, illustrations, and layout are accurate and on-brand. Suggest edits where appropriate to improve accuracy and comprehensibility. Meticulously review document to correct all copy errors.
Results: Factual, informative, and readable Peatlands Playbook offering comprehensive insights into preserving peatlands worldwide to function as a natural climate solution
Examples:
Goal: Inform and inspire patient audience with educational content and resources for those living with rare blood diseases and immunodeficiencies.
Strategy: Write factual and empathetic weekly articles on topics related to clotting disorders, immune conditions and general health.
Results: More than two dozen science-based articles for the Vita blog offering readers advice and community on topics specific to their health conditions
